SiO2
A laser beam passes through sand, projecting patterns inspired by the atomic structure of silicon: from raw silica to the basis of microelectronics.
The work explores the duality between silica in its raw form, sand, and its technological application as the foundation of microelectronics.
A laser beam passes through sand particles, projecting patterns inspired by the atomic structure of silicon (SiO2) and digital circuits. Photonic sensors react to light, creating a dialogue between matter and energy, between the natural and the synthetic.
